PEORIA -- The controversy over the anti-union, Karl Rove appearance in Peoria on Monday, May 11 continues to boil. Scroll down.
UPDATE 5/11/09: Rove sneaked into town and spoke to about 40 people, according to news accounts. The press was barred from the event, as were union members and certain elected officials.
Here's the PJStar story.
I showed up and carried a hand lettered sign that read "Anti-Union = Anti-American" on one side and "Arrest Rove for War Crimes" on the other side.
Too bad he wasn't arrested for conspiracy to torture, and send to jail.
