Black Panther Mark Clark remembered

PEORIA -- Here's a fascinating story about an event to commemorate Peoria native Mark Clark, a victim of the Civil Rights struggle. This is the 40th anniversary of Clark's death. Read all about it here.

The Mark Clark Memorial Tribute will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2009, at Lovejoy Church located at 1500 S. Easton Street in Peoria. There will be a panel of speakers, as detailed on the site linked above.
