India program

PEORIA -- The Peoria area World Affairs Council presents a program on India on August 20.

“India and the United States: The Keys to a Successful Relationship,” features Ambassador Ashok Kumar Attri, Consul General of India for a discussion of the ties between the US and what Secretary of State Hilary Clinton called “a key partner” in US foreign policy plans.

It's at Barrack’s Cater Inn. 1224 W. Pioneer Parkway, Peoria, with the reception at 5 p.m., a dinner at 6 p.m., then the presentation at 7 p.m.
