Beauty and the Beast Roars

PEORIA -- Disney's Beauty and the Beast,  a lavish spectacle, opened Feb. 20 at the Peoria Civic Center.  It plays again on Feb. 21.

The actors are terrific but the incredible sets alone are worth the price of admission.

This award winning musical, based on a movie, was created by top rate talent, and it shows. There are enough witty lines and lively singing and dancing numbers to amuse the adults, and the story, based on the fairy tale, will fascinate children. It's definitely worth seeing.
