Sat Aug. 28: Lynn Scott Pearson, candidate for reelection to Peoria County Board District 3, is holding a 'meet the candidate' picnic, noon to 3 p.m. at Morton Square Park in Peoria. Hot dogs, chips, drinks and icy pops for kids. Free.
