WASHINGTON, IL --
Poet Mike Foster will be giving a free reading at The
Blend coffeehouse, 1130 Peoria St., in Washington from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.,
Oct. 5.
Foster,
a former Illinois Central College professor of journalism and English who retired in 2005, will read
selections from his upcoming collection, Schoolboy Loves His Pie. Here's a sample:
