MACOMB -- On Friday, Nov. 19, you can see the Miami String Quartet in New York City at Carneigie Hall, for $54 a ticket. But on Nov. 17, an appreciative audience saw them on the Western Illinois University campus for $15. Such a deal!
The group played Macomb in a Performing Arts Center series because first violinist Benny Kim is a Macomb native. He favored his home town with a warm up performance for the big time in the big Apple.
They were wonderful, of course. Brilliant.
