PeoriaStory : Strip mine threatens Canton

CANTON -- A proposed strip mine threatens Canton Lake and the city's water supply. Here's a story from a national publication about it.

The public hearing is Dec. 6 at 5 pm and 7:30 pm. Here are the details, where you can also sign a petition against this travesty.
